Scuba Ventures or formerly known as Whitetip Divers-Dumaguete was organized as a National Diving Network by 1995, after 2 years of operation in Manila, an extension service was created in Dumaguete City. This was done in partnership with Mr. Larry Montenegro, the pioneer of SCUBA diving in Negros Oriental. In fact their Dive Shop which has been in operation for 20 years is the first in the province. The partnership between experience and advance technology was born. It was operated under the leadership of an active and dynamic PADI Instructor, Andre "Snoopy" Montenegro. The youngest and the only Filipino PADI Professional Instructor in Negros Oriental. Since then, with the growing popularity of recreational diving, Scuba Ventures Dumaguete leads in giving creative, professional, and uncompromising service for the diving enthusiast.
