Negros Oriental, with its capital city Dumaguete, is mostly about nature and people, good food and friendly resorts.

With other historical sites, such as, the Cathedral Belfry built in 1811 as a defence warning against marauding pirates from the Sulu seas, Dumaguete is a uniquely quaint, rustic, and unchanging town sheltered and shaded by gigantic and ancient acacia trees.
